We’re here to listen and we’re here to help. If you are a registered charity in Bristol, Wiltshire or Gloucestershire and you struggle to be heard, we’d love to hear from you.
We like to keeps things simple, so here’s how to apply for a grant from the Sarah Jayne Charitable Trust.
How to apply
Please send us a written application (letter or email) and tell us:
- Overview of your charity and the services / activities you offer
- Your registered charity number
- The amount of money you need
- A brief written plan
- Explaining what the money will be used for
- Quantifying the anticipated benefit
Please send applications to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Or by post to:
Sarah Jayne Charitable Trust
What happens next
We look forward to receiving your grant application. We love reading about local charities and the difference you make. Once we receive your documents, the trustees will consider your application and we will let you know if you have been successful. If your grant request is successful, we will provide a one-off grant or we will agree funding over a 12 month period.
We will always give priority to small, under-funded charities that are less likely to receive government or alternative regular funding.
Once a grant has been made, we will ask you to send us a progress report to tell us how you’re getting on.
Good luck and we look forward to hearing from you!
“You helped bring Christmas to our families and we could not have done it without you.”
